MATHS MYSTERY(Week 10)

For this weeks maths Mystery we had to figure out who was the pencil case thief.
I think that the hardest part for me this week was question 3 because it was actually incorrect. It said that if the order was for example 1234 then it was a male and if it was 4321 then it was female but the answer that you would have got would have been 1221 which doesn't give you a gender. I did end up finding out that it was a female.
I think that the easiest part was clue 2 because all we had to do was count how many sharpeners there was and then add on however many you would need to make 20. I also think that this question was a little bit challenging because you had to think a little bit about what you would have to add to actually MAKE 20.
Overall I had a great time doing this activity and I am so exited to see what next weeks maths mystery will be.
Here are my slides.
