Tennis Ball Tower Challenge
Today for our Whetu Challenge we worked in a group to build a tower out of newspaper, 2 straws and sellotape. We needed to make our tower strong enough to hold a tennis ball and be able to stand alone (not leaning on anything or needing support).
Today I worked with Jolie and Stephanie.
We didn’t really have any trouble because we worked together really well, I think this worked really well because we’re all good friends.
The easiest thing was planning because we all had some really good ideas that worked well together. The best part of our tower was the little compartment that held the tennis ball because it was a pretty smart idea and it worked really well.
Our tower looked very very short because we had taken two bits of newspaper and then we folded them in half to make them more sturdy. We made 4 legs with this method.
In the end it turned out pretty good in my opinion but that is just my opinion. I thought that this was a super fun activity and I am proud to present our creation.
This is so cool and impressive for it to stand by it self and it kinda looks like a spider. Great job keep up the great work.
